A Typical Day at the Co-Op

SHIELD Homeschool Enrichment has weekly cooperative classes held on Fridays!

As a co-op, we relay on parent involvement with co-teaching classes, clean-up, and fun! Here's what a typical day looks like at SHIELD!

Doors open at 9:30am

​

Morning Worship at 10:00am

We gather as a group in the sanctuary for morning worship. The kids get excited and dance to praise music. We have announcements. Lastly we open the floor up to any students that would like to present something. This could be anything they are working on at home.. a book report, bible verse, a song... anything!

Classes from 10:25am - 12:00pm

We have two 45 minute classes we offer. Moms (or dads) will co-teach the class they are assigned to for each hour. 

Preschool students only have 30 minute classes with a 30 minute break/recess in between 1st and 2nd hour.

Lunch at noon

Families gather outside or in the fellowship hall for lunch time! 

​

Gym and Clean up from 12:40pm -1:15pm

Kids go to a Group Gym Time fun were parents rotate who is facilitating the gym classes and the other parents who are not participating in gym are helping cleaning up the building (sorry no maid service here).

SHIELD ends at 1:30pm
